Why We Started Outdoor Kids Faith
Like many Christian parents, we struggled to find meaningful ways to connect with our kids beyond screens and structured activities. We wanted to raise children who knew God, loved His creation, and weren't afraid of adventure—but we didn't know where to start.
Everything changed when we took our first family hiking trip. Away from distractions, surrounded by God's magnificent creation, our conversations went deeper. Our kids asked questions about faith they'd never asked before. We saw them gain confidence, learn perseverance, and experience the joy of discovery.
But it wasn't easy at first. We made mistakes, felt overwhelmed, and wondered if outdoor adventures with kids were worth the effort. Through trial and error, we learned what worked and what didn't. We discovered how to make outdoor time manageable, meaningful, and truly transformative for our family.
Outdoor Kids Faith was born from a simple desire: to help other Christian families experience what we discovered. We want to make it easier for you to get outside with your kids, teach them about God through creation, and build memories that will last a lifetime.
